Fandom Friday: Black Widow Solo Movie + More!

Posted May 4, 2018 by Lupe

Happy Friday! Next week is finals week for me and I’m so ready for freedom! Hopefully, I will be alive after finals. Speaking of surviving finals…

To those who have seen Avengers: Infinity War, how are you coping with the agony of what’s coming in the next film? I STILL CAN’T STOP THINKING ABOUT THE ENDING! Don’t worry. I’m not going to spoil it for those who have not seen it yet. Wait, to those who have not seen it yet, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! GO SEE IT ASAP!

Congrats to Marvel for breaking records! The movie is MARVELous! (Ha! See what I have done there? Gosh I have no brain cells left at this point).  I should stop rambling now.

Black Widow Solo Movie in the works!

Seems like Scarlett Johansson will reprise her role as Black Widow! Jac Schaeffer will write the ‘Black Widow’ standalone movie script. I’m very happy that we get a female screenwriter to help develop the long-awaited movie! I’m so excited for this and I hope we get to see her backstory to know what made ‘Black Widow’ the bad*** woman that she is today!

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina

We finally get a title for the upcoming Sabrina The Teenage Witch series on Netflix! The title is Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. The title should be familiar to comic book fans. The name is after the Archie Comic graphic novel which it is based. The creator of the series, Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, tweeted about the news with a photo of the star Kiernan Shipka.

  1. I am so excited for Sabrina! I’m just bummed it won’t be crossing over with Riverdale, at least for now. But it hopefully will be awesome. Yes to Infinity War- it’s going to be a long year waiting for PArt 2!!! And I didn’t know about robin Hood!!
