  1. I know that this might not be a popular opinion at the moment, but I am really excited for Fantastic Beasts. I know that somethings have the potential to be problematic (especially the continued role of Johnny Deep and the role of Nagini as a woman) but I still think that there are characters worth watching it for. As a Hufflepuff myself, I love seeing Newt as the leading man. He isn’t characterized as particularly courageous, smart, or ambitious, but he is still an amazing hero. He is showing the world that kindness is actually a quality for a hero. (Plus, I love Kowalski and I NEED to know what happens to Credence).

  2. The new Fantastic Beasts trailer is really intriguing. Like Tessa (another commenter), I know there are things that are problematic, including the fact that the movies will ignore the nature of Dumbledore’s and Grindelwald’s relationship, and the casting of Johnny Depp, but I’m still looking forward to it. I loved the first movie and want more of Newt, Tina, Queenie, and Jacob.

  3. I am so excited for The Crimes of Grindelwald!!!!! And this is the first I have heard of Birds of Prey or Dark Phoenix and now I am super excited for both!!!

  4. Birds of Prey sounds awesome, and I love Margot Robbie as Harley. Can’t wait. The Dark Phoenix trailer I have mixed feelings about, I hope it’s good…

  5. I must admit. I’ve been completely out of the loop lately with film, television and books lately while waiting for The Walking Dead to return. Lots of main character leaving this season. Gosh, for a show supposedly with hundreds of millions each week, why can’t I find anyone who want he’s it religiously too?
