Happy Friday!

Hey! It’s Lupe again. Do you still remember me? Sorry for my long absence. October was the worst month. I had to deal with my declining health. I’m doing better now! Besides, Thanksgiving is next week! I’m ready to stuff my face with food! Are you?

RIP Stan Lee- A Legend

Stan Lee was the real MVP.  He passed away on November 12. He was the creator of the Marvel Universe. The man who gifted us the heroes that we still love today. I’m talking X-Men, Iron Man, Black Panther, The Fantastic Four, The Incredible Hulk, The Avengers and more! Thank you, Stan Lee. You will never be forgotten.

The Final season of Game of Thrones

I have never seen this show, but I know tons of people love it! Sadly, it’s coming to an end. The eighth and final season will premiere in April 2019.

Detective Pikachu

I’ve loved Pokemon all my life. Seeing this trailer was something else. Psyduck and Jigglypuff look terrifying. Pikachu sounds like Deadpool. I still don’t know if that is a good or bad thing. PIkachu does look adorable!

Toy Story 4

I’m excited and mad about this. Allow me to explain. Toy Story 3 broke my heart and was such a perfect ending! Why do they have to milk it even more? Don’t get me wrong. I’m still going to see it. Watch out kids, us old people need to watch how this movie goes down first.

Dumbo

Do you remember that drunk scene in the cartoon version? That scene gave me some major nightmares as a kid.

Let’s discuss!

Who is your favorite Marvel superhero? Do you watch Game of Thrones? What movie are you most excited to see?

Enjoy your Thanksgiving!

Lupe is a 21-year-old Latina (she feels 80 sometimes) who loves to read and watch movies and share her thoughts/opinions about them! Her all-time favorite series consists of Bloodlines and Vampire Academy (among others), and her favorite author is Richelle Mead.

  1. Glad you are feeling better, but sorry October was so rough!! Its so sad about Stan Lee, he was a hero himself! May he rest in peace. And I am torn about the Pickachu movie too but at the same time super excited!! Have a great thanksgiving !!!

  2. My brother came in the house yelling Stan Lee was dead and we just stared at each other for a second in horror. And then my father, my brother, and I all had to explain who Stan Lee was to a friend that was staying with us. I felt so disappointed 🙁

  3. So sad about Stan Lee! I’m going to miss all his cameos.

I’m definitely ready for Thanksgiving! We’re having holiday #1 tomorrow with my husband’s family, and then we’ll also celebrate with my family next week.

  4. So glad you’re on the mend Lupe, just in time to be able to enjoy thanksgiving too. We don’t celebrate thanksgiving here, it’s very much an American holiday but still excited for Christmas! Stan Lee leaves behind such a legacy doesn’t he. Completely agree about Toy Story. I was fifteen when the first one was released and it was such a revelation to see a full length feature film digitally illustrated. After number three, why oh WHY do we need another one? No doubt I’ll probably watch it but literally no one would have asked for another one after that ending.
