Lately, I’ve been focusing on gaming a little more because we had a group post about villains taking over the world, and I wanted to get some shots of the second storyline villain, which meant I had to get my act together and power my balance wizard as much as I could until she got those shots at the end of Azteca.
She made it, peeps, but didn’t enter until a few days later
So I basically abandoned reading a little in the past few weeks. (I promise I read a little because waiting to choose a card is very boring when you’re in a team, even though I had to pay a lot more attention since I’m the healer/support/tank. Life as a balance is wonderful, as you can see.
Here’s a cool screenshot right before entering Xibalba, which, goshdarnit I forgot the shortcut. One day on a future character I will come here and find that I have very bad shots of early Wizard Photography.
OMG is that really one away from 5K health on my tank gear? 🙄
Now we’re moving on to the actual topic(s) of the post: Ice and Myth. I wonder why I’m so behind on these but I did power through lately so that might be why I feel very ahead of myself.
Sophia Legendheart (Myth)
Surprisingly, my myth actually has a questing team of three, but we’re all a little ahead/behind each other with promises to catch each other up during our school breaks (sometimes I wouldn’t mind if they got ahead of me because then they can catch up to my balance and we’ll have a support/tank on our team with the occasional heal). Legendheart trekked a little into Celestia (more on that in the future), but has been sidetracked to get some side quests in earlier worlds out of the way before I venture on (there’s a lot to do for me).
Speaking of side quests, I finally got the Bookworm badge on Sophia Legendheart! I almost always have this badge on because I’m a book nerd and I’m proud of it.
I did take a screenshot, but I’m not posting it because I don’t have anything to edit out the number of crowns I have on my account at the moment aka I don’t feel like showing my stats either.
First up, Sunken City! I’m actually a little surprised I didn’t do this earlier, but I’m also not surprised since this is a dungeon and soloing a dungeon is unadvised. Sunken City is also a side dungeon, so there wouldn’t be any who would venture into this place.
This probably wouldn’t be as bad if I didn’t press X before CTRL + G.
I think I took off the dialogue box by then, so it’s not as bad the first but still… I haven’t been here in a long while so I’ve forgotten about this place entirely. The last time I went through Sunken City was about 5 years ago?
After that, Wysteria. I actually took a photo from the Great Reading Places Around the Spiral on this character, so it’s only fair I brought it up again, haha.
I’ve been experimenting with environmental shots in the game lately (ever since trying to work on that post) when I’m not failing at pressing CTRL + G. It’s harder in a dungeon because I’m likely not the first person to go to the next destination, triggering a worthy scene to be shot.
I’m also experimenting with spell shots, which is really helpful when you have a pet that has may cast Unicorn (I can fail the first shot and succeed on the second). I’m being blessed by the fairy. The pet my myth has was also an accidental find from years ago when I set her aside to work on a good snake in a basket pet.
I also took Legendheart back into Krokotopia since I focused on the main storyline most of the time rather than doing both sides and main. Let’s be honest though: when I first created Sophia Waterheart, there was no main storyline quest indicator.
Bird’s eye view is super cool sometimes. I’d love to have a photography option rather than trying to figure out which shots are best, but I suppose the fun is in this photography puzzle?
Speaking of Krokotopia, time to switch characters.
Sophia Iceheart (Ice)
I started her a few months ago when Legendheart finished Dragonspyre, but I didn’t quest much on her. I still don’t go on her a lot, as I wanted to focus on getting my main (balance) past Azteca (it’s kind of my priority to get her to max level) and Legendheart to level 60 before continuing with Iceheart.
Sometimes, however, I get bored of questing, so I hop on my ice to knock out some basic quests and maybe take a funny photo or two.
Pop! Goes the snowman! Also 999. Ha, I just noticed this.
For a tanking and resist school, I’m currently failing. Also death spells are nice to save me in a pinch in the second part of Krokotopia. I hate the second part of Krokotopia on my ice.
I found this in my files. Wizard Photography is all about taking multiple shots and trying to find the best one, but this one is perfect for a Caption This if I learned to press shortcuts on time.
