I know things started out rough and all with the Halloween Games – hey, you survived, right? – but that was a warmup to see what kind of spoopy bookwyrm you are.
And now that you’ve found out what you truly are on Halloween night, it’s time to wreck some chaos.
Because what is Halloween night without prepping for some fun?
But first, an intermission on Today’s Prompt before we go back to our regular Blogoween programming:
Halloween and villains! Which villain would you be for Halloween? Why do you want to be a villain for Halloween? Bend the rules, break the rules – anything spooky villain themed is fair game. 😜
The first step to having fun on Halloween, though, is getting yourself a villain.
It’s time to put on your villain searching hats, bookwyrms, because villain hunting just sends them running away from you rather than to you. Which is precisely why we’re going to call this villain searching.
Let’s talk about all the reasons why YOU need a villain this Halloween season.
You know you want to know.
They can take the blame for you.
You know your way around this world, they probably don’t. And if you know your way around, you know the people much better. If something goes horribly wrong, you know exactly who to blame your mistakes on.
Besides, if you never liked the villain in the first place, who cares what happens to them?
They’ve got amazing powers to achieve your goals.
You’re just human! While you would love to get some amazing powers of your own, that’s not going to happen… at least not yet. Maybe when we’re all six feet under the ground. Until then, you’ll need someone else with the powers you need to get you closer to your goal.
They spice things up more (and give their brain power a break).
With your brain power combined with their superpowers, Halloween will be more interesting indeed. Think of the capabilities! Things you didn’t think would happen in a million years coming to life right in front of you!
There’s no hero to stop them.
With no one in their way, your villain will have free reign to do whatever they want, whenever they want. Of course, you want to make sure you’ll be able to walk away freely when they take over the world… or rule by their side.
If this isn’t a reason to get a villain to help you out with your Halloween shenanigans, I don’t know what is.

Hahaha I didn’t think to spin the theme like this but I see the appeal and interest to keep a villain close to you. He would take the blame oh yes! he would be strong? Even better IF he is my friend of course 😉

This was fun. Often the villain is my favorite character. Hmm, I would want to be someone both scary and humorous.
A villain who is both evil and funny is a good one to have – they’ll keep you on your toes for sure.

Villains can definitely be very goal oriented and not hampered by pesky rules of ethics or putting down their pride in their work. Yep, I’ve got villain in me. 😉
